지역사회의 집합적 효율성과 범죄피해의 관계검증 : 대구지역을 중심으로

The primary purpose of this study is to test the effect on community's collective efficacy on victimization of community residents. Specifically,community characteristics of socio-economic status and residential mobility determines residents' social interactions and social interactions including friendship/kinship networks, vitalization of community organization, attachment of community and neighboring of residents affect the level of collective efficacy which is a core element of maintaining social order and then determine occurrence of crime and victimization in a community. To accomplish the goal of this study, 36 Dongs of 8 Gus were randomly selected with 20 subjects around Daegu Metropolitan City. Korea Public Information Disclosure System were used to collect the community data of structure characteristics by contacting community centers in each Dong. The results show that collective efficacy successfully predicts victimization of community residents and negative relationships which means that stronger collective efficacy can reduce the less victimization of residents. Meanwhile,structure characteristics and residents' social interactions and attachment failed to show direct effects on victimization, but through collective efficacy they showed indirect effects.
