국내외 디자인 어워드 사례 연구를 통한 평가지표 도출에 관한 연구

Various multimedia design works in digital environment have been applied to international design awards. The evaluation criteria for the design which adopts new media need to consist of an appropriate evaluation guideline. In this study, the design awards which are well-known in the country are selected to analyze current design awards’ evaluation criteria. A purpose of this study is to observe the similarities of selected design awards, and to analyze how the professionalists including evaluators and directors plus award applicants think about the priority ranking of evaluation criteria. This suggests a supporting design evaluation model to fulfill the needs of digital design fields based on the digital technology trends, and the new design evaluation criteria will be suggested as a supporting evaluation system. For the fast changes in design environment, a new evaluation model will be suggested. For the scope of this study, the most popular world design awards are selected to evaluate digital multimedia design within recent three years, and reviewed the similarities and specialties for each selected design awards. The methodology of this study is to collect the design evaluation criteria of design awards which include new media, and analyzed with MECE categorization Based on the analyzed information, a new design evaluation model by ranking priority was done with college applicants in March, 2012The combined data of design evaluation criteria from the world famous design awards will apply a suitable design evaluation model
