All human is beings to imagine. But perception about the meaning and role of imagination is not enough in the dimension of juvenile correctional education. As a result there is little discussion on what role imagination can play in juvenile correctional education Imagination plays an important role to promote the resilience of juvenile delinquent Resilience is a dynamic personal ability to overcome risk factors. Such resilience factors can be the main goals of juvenile correctional education Resilience factors to be the main goals of juvenile correctional education are self efficacy, problem solving ability, the regulation emotion and impulsiveness empathy and acceptance, optimism, goals and hopes, pursuit of meaning,religious spirituality, social competence, autonomy, and so on. Imagination is an useful means to effectively achieve the goals of juvenile correctional education. Imagination plays a role to strengthen resilience factors such as types of a creative imagination, a relational , a moral, an integrative, a mythic. Therefore it is necessary to raise awareness about imagination, and vitalize the discussions on how to realize imaginative education concretely in juvenile correctional education.
