해외 부동산학과 교과목의 특성과 시사점

Charateristics and Suggestion in Curriculm of Real Estate Department

초록

Gobalization, development of technology and more closer relation real estate with financial markets is one of the changes in real estate industry. Under these circumstances around real estate market, research questions focus on whether our curriculum of real estate is adequate compared with foreign countries especially with advanced countries like the United States and Austrailia. Analysis of 29 real estate department curriculum and subject specialization shows that percentage of policy and real estate law subject is a leading parts of its curriculum composition. This reflects circumstances of our real estate market that central government have played a great role. In case of Unites States, subjects like management and economics comprise of 50% in their curriculum composition. On the contrary, Austrailia empasize development, management and practical skills of real estate fields. The characteristics of Korea real estate curriculum shows very low intensity in management subjects. In relation with realignment of real estate curriculum, three points were emphasized. First, it need to expand subjects like market analysis and appraisal of real estates. It need to consider real estate market tend to be local and its price fluctuation mostly affected by factors like its local real estate markets. Second, managerial mind is important to manage a real estate business more safe direction. Third, university need to trade its physical and personal bases through cooperation program with real estate industry.
