Effects of Individual Trait, Educational, Organizational Factors on Entrepreneurial Intentions in Tourism College Students: the Mediating Effects of Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy

This study was to investigate the effects of individual trait, educational,organizational factors on tourism student's entrepreneurial intentions. Also,the analysis of mediating roles of entrepreneurial self-efficacy was another research question. Data were collected by 288 students. The analysis of multiple regression indicated that individual traits were significantly related to the entrepreneurial intention. and educational and organizational factors were related to the entrepreneurial intention. In addition, the analysis of mediating effects shows that entrepreneurial self-efficacy play significant partial mediating roles on the relationships between individual traits and entrepreneurial intention, but play full mediating roles on the relationships between educational factors and entrepreneurial intention. Implications for university and adminstration as well as directions for further study are discussed.
