초록
유통경로 구성원간의 높은 수준의 관계품질은 경로성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 그러므로 관계품질의 향상을 위한 학문적 및 실무적 노력의 파악은 그 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 관계품질을 위한 동인으로서 조직간 시민행동의 역할에 주목하고 있다. 기존의 조직연구에서는 구성원의 조직내 시민행동이 조직의 성과에 기여 하는 것을 이론화하고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구는 조직간 맥락이라는 유통경로구성원의 관계에서도 시민행동이 조직간 성과로서의 관계품질에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 가설을 검정하는 것을 기본적인 목적으로 하고 있다. 또한 조직간 시민행동의 하위 요인을 다시 범주화하여 조직간 성과에 대한 역할 내재적 조직간 시민행동과 역할 외재적 조직간 시민행동의 상이한 역할을 규명하는 것을 추가적인 목적으로 하고 있다. 관리형 수직적 경로를 대상으로 한 실증에서, 역할 내재적 조직간 시민행동과 역할 외재적 조직간 시민행동이 관계만족, 상호신뢰, 그리고 관계결속으로 구성된 관계품질에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 뿐만 아니라 그 영향에 있어서 역할 내재적 조직간 시민행동은 위생요인의 특성을 나타내며, 역할 외재적 조직간 시민행동은 동기요인의 특성을 나타내는 것을 확인하였다.
Abstract
The relationship quality affects channel performance. Hence, the importance of understanding how to improve relationship quality has been increasing in the perspectives of both scholars and practitioners. This study focuses on the inter-organizational citizenship behavior as a driver of relationship quality. The existing researches in management area have addressed the relation between organizational members’ citizenship behavior and organizational performance. Adopting this assertion, the objective of this study is to verify the hypothetical relationship between citizenship behavior and performance in the marketing channel context. The empirical test was conducted in the managerial vertical marketing system. The research result shows that in-role and extra-role inter-organizational citizenship behavior affects the channel members' relationship quality which is composed of relationship satisfaction, mutual trust, and relationship commitment. Furthermore, the hygienic characteristics of in-role citizenship behaviors and the motivating characteristics of extra-role citizenship behaviors were confirmed in the relationship between citizenship behaviors and relationship quality.
