One important determinant and probably the most easily influenced determinant of entrepreneur performance is education. If education leads to a higher quality of entrepreneurial performance and to a greater number of entrepreneurs, this justifies appropriate investments in education. As entrepreneurship is becoming popular around the world, its education should be customized according to each country’s unique socio-cultural context. This notion is very much applicable to African countries which have strived for socio-economic well being. Not unlike any other countries in the world today, promoting entrepreneurship in African continent for the young population is by far the most important issue. However, the fact that major portion of the African youth seeking entrepreneurship is necessity driven. And they are very much prone to failure due to lack of education, experience, and resource access. Therefore, there is an urgent need for research into whether and how this is achieved, and how it can be improved for more impact in the African society.
