중소기업의 구조조정 활성화 방안 - 기업의 자율적 구조조정을 중심으로 -

This article is attempts to study on the revitalization for the restructuring of the small and medium enterprise in Korea. The small and medium enterprise, fallen into the category of marginal company, should restructure including cost management strategies, concentration on core business and reduction of debt ration. But the small and medium enterprise still reluctant to restructure their company and business on account of wrong recognition of corporate restructuring and insufficient policy and legal systems. Therefore, it is very important to attract voluntary corporate restructuring from improperly-run small and medium enterprise. The government of Japan should take some drastic measures to revitalize the ailing economy, specially to establish ‘Act on Special Measures for the Vitality of Industry’ in 1999. This act aimed at easing of restrictions for corporation is significant for reforming the small and medium enterprise restructuring policy in Korea. And it is possible that marginal small and medium enterprise change the type of organization, for example social enterprise or cooperative association for maintenance of employment. In this article, I would like to explore the revitalization for the corporate restructuring policy of the small and medium enterprise in Korea.
