감성디자인 요소를 통한 모니터 디자인에 관한 연구 - 컨셉 디자인 제안을 중심으로 -

Monitor is an interactive device which is received video and audio signals from a computer. As a penetration rate of desk-top grows, the use of monitor has increased and the demand of monitor in the market is shrinking. Therefore, in order to increase the demand of monitor in the market, there needs to be a strategy which is one of the methods, a touching design. A consumer in information-oriented society tends to regard their individuality important. We might shorten the lifespan of monitor and induce purchasing demand if we can provide an emotional design that is deeply moving. Emotional design is rather impressive than pure function of monitor. The objectivity of this research is to figure out the consumers’ needs by researching what are the emotional features in monitor design. To rouse consumer’s purchasing demands, emotional and innovational design should act as a stimulus. Introducing emotional design will be imbue a new vigorous energy in tied-up monitor market.
