효율적인 입학사정관제 운영을 통한 사교육비 경감 방안

The purpose of the study is to find the problems of admission officer system and the factors that induce private education expenses and improve those problems and factors to improve the admission officer system. For this purpose, the differences of adjustment to college life, private education expenses, and consulting on preparing document between students selected by admission officer and students selected by other ways are analyzed. As a result, students selected by admission officer showed lower GPA and private education expenses, but higher attitude in class, personal relations, class satisfaction, and college life satisfaction. Students selected by leadership screening process among students selected by admission officer took more private lessons than others. Students selected by alternative school screening process among students selected by admission officer spent more time and money to get consulting on a letter of self-introduction and documented evidence of prize. There are no differences in private education expenses between students selected by admission officer and students selected by other ways. However, there are differences in private education expenses among students selected by admission officer with a different screening process.
