최근 급속한 환경변화에 대응하기 위해 ‘지속가능한 교통수단’으로서 친환경적이고 에너지 소비가 적은 도시형 차량인 ‘궤도수송차량’의 개발과 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히, PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) 시스템은 도시의 교통문제와 교통사고, 환경오염 등을 해결할 수 있는 새로운 교통시스템으로 주목받고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 신 교통시스템에 적합한 디자인을 진행하기 위해 한국철도기술연구원과 공동으로 국내외 사례 및 동향 분석과 트랜드 조사를 통해 한국형 PRT 디자인 개발을 목적으로 진행하였다. 먼저 조사방법은 PRT시스템의 적용 사례와 실제적용 가능한 기술적인 메커니즘을 바탕으로 디자인을 진행하였다. 먼저, 디자인 조사에서는 새로운 PRT 시스템의 디자인을 개발하기 위해 컨셉카(Concept Car), 양산차(production car), LRT(Light rail Transit) 등의 디자인 트렌드와 특성을 분석하였다. 또한, 위의 결과를 바탕으로 디자인에 필요한 Shape, Housing, Color를 도출하였으며 한국철도기술연구원과 공동으로 디자인 Requirement의 범위를 선정하여 최종 디자인을 완성하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 진행된 1차 모델링은 앞으로 실제 개발을 위한 기술적 테스트를 진행할 예정이며, 실험 결과를 바탕으로 실제 적용 가능한 PRT 디자인을 완성할 예정이다.
Abstract
The development of Personal Rapid Transit is underway as a counterplan for the fast environment changing, which could be consider as a sustainable transportation meaning to save the energy as well. The system of PRT（Personal Rapid Transit）catches public’s eyes, because it solve transportation problems, accident and pollution in the city. The purpose of this study is to develop Korean PRT design for applying new transportation system through analyzing the domestic and abroad cases and trend with Korea Railroad Research Institute. Firstly, the design was advanced on the base of the PRT systems application cases and mechanism that could be applied possibly; the design trend and characteristics about concept car, mass production car and light rail transit was analyzed in the design researches. The necessary shape, housing and color for design was extracted and the scope of design requirement was selected together with Korea Railroad Research Institute, and then the design was done according to above research result. The modeling got from this research will be test from technological aspect later for the future development and then the proposal of PRT will be advanced in the future.
