패키징 산업 관련 필름 수출입의 결정요인 분석

초록
본 논문에서는 대수 선형 형태의 구조적 모형을 이용하여 패키징 산업 필름 수출입의 변동요인을 분석하였다. 먼저 CUSUM 검정을 통하여 모형의 구조적 안정성을 검정하였는데 분석기간 내에 구조적 변화가 존재하지 않았다. 모든 변수들이 대단히 높은 상관관계를 갖는다는 것과 상관계수가 대단히 느린 속도로 쇠퇴한다는 것으로 시계열이 단위근을 갖는 불안정한 시계열임을 알 수 있었으며, 1차차분을 취한 후 안정성을 회복하였다. 그리고 Johansen 공적분 검정으로 공적분 벡터가 존재하는 것으로 나타남에 따라 장기균형식과 오차수정모형을 추정하였다. 그 결과 세계경기와 국내경기의 호조는 예상한대로 수출입을 증가시켰으며, 엔/달러환율과 원/달러환율은 수출입을 감소시키는 것으로 분석되었다. 한편 오차수정모형에서 수출의 경우는 환율, 수입의 경우는 환율과 경기가 단기조정 역할을 수행하였으며, 오차수정항의 값이 음의 부호로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 더불어 충격반응을 실시한 결과 엔/달러 환율변동 충격에 대해 수출은 시차를 두고 감소반응을 나타냈으며, 원/달러 환율변동 충격에 대해 수입은 즉각적인 감소반응을 보여주었다.
Abstract
This paper aims at analysing the determinants of film-related trade. The CUSUM test, cointegration test, error correction mechanism are applied for empirical analysis. Monthly data from 2001:1 to 2011:6 for exchange rates and economic activity are in use. Cointegration theory is used to confirm the existence of long-run equilibrium relationship among variables. Before examining the cointegrating relationships, this study tests the unit roots in all time series using ADF tests because the same integrated order is requested between the variables in cointegration analysis. On the basis of the cointegration analysis, this study establishes vector error-correction model (VECM) to describe how the short-term deviations and long-run equilibrium contribute to the variables movements. Also, on the basis of the VECM model, impulse response function (IRF) is used to trace the response path of an endogenous variable to a change in one of the innovations. This function describes the dynamic interplay among variables and observes the adjustment speed of variables in the system.
