산업용 에어콤프레서의 외형 디자인에 관한 연구

These days, compressors are being used not only for industrial purpose but also for home use in various fields. The market for compressors is already saturated with many companies that have ventured into this field of business. So, we need to improve the design as well as the technology of products in order to enhance the competitive power of the products not only in the domestic market but also in the overseas market. Through this research and study, we were able to come up with following conclusions about the development of new product design based on problems and tendencies of current air-compressors from the same product lines. First, air-compressors should be constructed with sturdy and stable designs rather than formal and crude designs for industrial products. Second, compressors seem to match white or grey color better than primary colors. Third, it looks more suitable to use a few colors than many colors for a compressor’s exterior design. This study covers investigation and analysis of industrial air-compressors’ exterior design but does not include evaluation of real compressor products. From now on, we should try to promote diversity of air-compressor designs through more specific studies and gain competitiveness of Korean industries and products in global market.
