비정형 디자인의 형태 분석에 관한 연구

The change in paradigm and the development of digital design tools brought much change from an architectural form reproduction, a conceptual generation, and a form construction method to a form constitution, and granted an possibility of various designs to designers also. Depending on designers, their way to generate, transform, and construct forms are different, but they use digital design tools to express their own design, and apply the design and formalize it to show the same design. This means that expressions not solved in the existing way became possible through digital deign tools. Expecially in completing an atypical complex curved surface and an atypical form representative of a flexible or streamline form, various methods are required, so to achieve this, a way to generate an atypical form will be an essential factor. This study that was analyzed focusing on the works after 1990 figured out the atypical form and analyzed the distribution and characteristics of the form for each usage. And it classified them into atypical form element and form factor to analyze the atypical form. Such classification can be used as a database to apply the actual atypical form. This study is significant as a previous study on design methods to produce atypical forms through the application of digital design tools and that on methods to apply those design tools. In this study, the atypical form was classified and the system of atypical form classification was established through the analysis of atypical form element and factor.
