부품의 디자인 요소와 디자인 만족도의 관계

초록
본 연구는 IT 제품 관련 부품의 디자인 개발에서고려되어야 할 디자인 요소를 파악하기 위해 디자인만족도와 디자인 요소의 관계를 검증한 실증적 연구이다. 선행연구를 근거로 디자인 요소를 추출하고, 통계적 분석 방법을 이용하여 디자인 만족도에 영향을미치는 디자인 요인을 도출하였다. Likert형 7점 척도로 설계한 설문조사로 자료를 수집하였으며, 검증을위해 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을이용하였다. 그 결과 디자인의 심미성, 상징성, 물리성,정체성, 인간공학성, 환경친화성 등은 스마트폰이나 노트북 등 IT 관련 제품 부품의 디자인 만족도에 영향을미치는 것으로, 경제성은 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 지금까지 다소 소홀해 왔던 부품의 디자인 개발에 있어서도 경제성을 제외한 이들 요소들을 심도 있게 반영해야 함을 의미한다. 그리고 부품의 디자인 요소와 디자인 만족도의 관계에 관한 연구의 시도는 디자인 연구 범위 확대의 필요성과 가능성을 제시하였다는 점에서 학술적 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study is an empirical research on the relationship between the design factors and design satisfaction to identify the design elements to be considered in the design development of the accessories of the IT product. Based on previous studies, design elements were extracted, and statistical analysis method were used to determine the design elements. Likert’s 7 point scale survey designed to collect data, used factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis for verification. It was confirmed that design factors such as aesthetics, symbolism, physical, identity, ergonomics, environmental friendliness, affects the design satisfaction of IT-related accessories, but ergonomics of design is not. This result means that these elements except economics should be reflected in the development of accessories design that until now have been somewhat neglected. And because the attempts of the research on the relationship between design elements of accessories and design satisfaction suggest the possibility and the necessity about expanding of the design research scope, this study has academic significance.
