This paper studied Shipper's Interest Insurance(S.I.I.) which covers risks of air transportation withcurrent status, risks covered in an era of e-Business, and then enlargements of Shipper's InterestInsurance(S.I.I.) were presented. For the sake of air carrier, Shipper's Interest Insurance(S.I.I.) will be enlarged on basis of customersatisfaction, for cargo owner will be enlarged on basis of very cheap and simple cargo process oninternational transportation. In the light of current market situation of Republic of Korea, the role of contracting carrier, iefreight forwarder is very important and essential on international transportation for fast, smooth andright process. Nevertheless most freight forwarder is not large and not suitable to handle cargo claimsbecause they have not proper experience and knowledge for cargo claims. By this reason, Shipper'sInterest Insurance(S.I.I.) should be more widely enlarged and consumed for all parties concerned. Under the above circumstance, with a view to facilitating fast recovery of air cargo claim occurred,finance stability, variety, insurance coverage on air transportation, the issue of insuring air cargo claimto private insurance field, ie Shipper's Interest Insurance(S.I.I.) can be more aggressively discussedthrough this research paper.
