공공기관의 기업정보포털(EIP) 특성이 조직유효성과 개인성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

This study proposes a research model to find factors affecting the performance ofenterprise information portal (EIP) and to understand the dynamics of their effects onthe performance of EIP. We considered the factors related with characteristics of EIP,job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on the basis of the information systemsuccess model suggested by DeLone and McLean (1992). More specifically, our researchmodel includes characteristics of EIP as antecedent variables, user satisfaction andorganizational effectiveness as mediators, and individual performance as dependentvariable representing EIP performance. Our research model was applied to EIPs inpublic sector for an empirical study. The results of empirical study show that ease of use, process quality, and securityamong the characteristics of EIP have positive relationships with user satisfaction,which, in turn, positively affects organizational effectiveness. User satisfaction andorganizational effectiveness also have positive effects on individual performance. From the results it is expected that user satisfaction can be improved by increasingease of use, process quality, and security of EIP and improved user satisfaction willlead to improvement of organizational effectiveness which will result in increase ofindividual performance. This implies that we need to make our efforts to increase easeof use, process quality, and security of EIP particularly when EIPs are developed andadopted in public sector to improve user satisfaction and individual performance.
