내부자 정보유출의 방지를 위한 디지털 지적자산의 집중화 방안: I사의 추진사례

가속화되는 기업혁신과 정보화에 따라, 증가하는 기업의 지적자산은 디지털 정보자료의 형태로 생성되고 활용된다. 이러한 디지털 지적자산에 대해, 최근 내부자에 의한 정보자료유출이 심각한 정보보안문제로 인식되고 있다. 기업의 중요 디지털 지적자산이 내부구성원에 의해 외부로 유출되어 피해가 발생하는 경우가 빈번하다. 내부자가 처리하는 정보자료의 양적 증가에 따라, 기업혁신을 위한 디지털 지적자산의 보호를 위한 내부자 정보유출방지의 정보보안 이슈가 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 지적자산의 효과적인 관리뿐만 아니라 악의적인 외부유출로부터 보호하기 위하여 디지털 지적자산의 집중화전략을 추진할 수 있으나, 내부 구성원의 임의적인 정보자료의 활용은 효과를 반감시킨다. 본고에서는 이러한 문제에 대한 대안으로서 내부자 디지털 정보자료의 유출방지, 디지털 정보자료의 집중화, 정보자료의 외부유통 관리의 세 가지 개발방향을 통해 내부자 정보유출의 방지를 위한 디지털 지적자산의 집중화를 위한 기술적 구현방안을 제시하였다. 제시한 방안을 실제로 적용하여 그 효과를 확인하였으며, 정보보안 사고에서 큰 비중을 차지하는 조직내부의 보안위협에 대해 본고에서 소개한 내용이 정보보안 분야의 관련 시스템을 구현하고 활용하는데 참고가 될 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
As the corporate innovation and informatization are enlarged, intellectual properties of companies become increased and utilized in the form of digital materials like files, data and so on. Recently, information leakage for these digital properties and its damage caused by internal information threat are considered more serious. For an alternative, digital information including intellectual property can be centralized to a large-volume storage capacity shared within internal users. However, the usage for this device is not effective without mandatory centralized storage. In this paper, we introduce a centralization methodology of digital intellectual property for preventing insiders' leakage of internal information. Our technological alternative is implemented with considering several security elements and applied to a company. The results show satisfactory effectiveness for prevention of insiders' information leakage and knowledge management in an organization.
