초록

The purpose of this study is to examine how trust and Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) affect employees' attitudinal outcomes. Research has been done based on the survey results which was conducted in Kazakhstan. The data was collected from 202 employees. A self-administered written questionnaire was used to collect individual-level data such as trust in peers, trust in leader, LMX, employees' affective commitment, organizational citizenship behavior and intentions to quit. In the present study, a structural equation modeling was examined to test the theoretical model via path analysis. Analysis were conducted using SPSS 10 and AMOS 4. The results supported that trust in leader was positively related to LMX. In turn, LMX was related to a number of important employees' attitudes, such as affective commitment, organizational citizenship behavior and intentions to quit. The results did not support that trust in peers was related to LMX.
