환경경영 시스템의 요구사항이 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적 연구

본 연구는 환경경영 시스템의 요구사항이 경영시스템 개선과 재무적 성과에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해서 실증분석을 하였다. 환경경영 시스템의 요구사항이 경영성과인 경영시스템 개선에는 어떤 영향을 미치며, 또한 경영시스템 개선은 기업의 재무성과와는 어떤 영향을 미치는지 분석하고자 연구모형을 수립하였다. 본 연구의 분석을 위해 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 자료 수집은 환경경영 시스템을 운영하고 있는 기업의 운영담당자 각1명에게 전자메일을 이용하여 자료 수집을 하였다. 총 145개 ISO 14001 인증기업을 대상으로 설문을 발송하였고, 그 중에 약 75.9%인 110개의 자료가 수집되어 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 환경경영 시스템 요구사항 중 환경계획, 환경점검, 환경경영검토는 경영시스템 개선에 모두 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 환경경영 시스템 요구사항 중 하나인 환경실행 및 점검은 재무성과에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 경영시스템 개선은 재무성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 주었다. 본 연구는 해당 기업에서 환경경영 시스템을 효과적으로 적용한다면, 경영시스템의 개선을 기대할 수 있으며, 이러한 경영시스템의 개선은 기업의 재무성과도 향상시킬 수 있음을 규명하는데 그 의의가 있다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 이론적 및 실무적 시사점을 도출하였으며, 향후 연구 과제를 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to the impacts of the EMS(environmental management system) requirement on management performance using multi-linear regression analysis. We designed the study model that the impacts of the requirement of EMS on management improvement and financial performance. Our study was carried out using questionnaires of the managers in charge of environmental management system, A total of 145 questionnaires were distributed and collected on the spot, of which 110 questionnaires were used for the final analysis, excluding 35 questionnaires with incomplete answers. The results of the study were as follows. First, The environmental planning, the environmental checking, and the environmental management review of EMS requirement has an positive effect on the improvement management system. Second, the environmental implementation and operation has an positive effect on the financial performance. Third, also improvement management system has an positive effect on financial performance. With the results mentioned above, this study suggests the theoretical & practical implication as well as the direction of further research.
