지방의료원 재무비율 지표들 간의 구조적인 관계 분석

초록
이 연구는 지방의료원의 재무비율 지표들 간의 구조적인 관계를 파악함으로써 지방의료원의 경영개선 및 역량 강화를 위한 효율적인 방안을 모색하는데 유용한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구자료는 지방의료원연합회에서 매년 지방의료원을 대상으로 조사하고 있는 경영분석 자료와 결산서 및 연보 자료에서 수집하였다. 분석을 위해 지방의료원의 소재지, 병상규모, 수련여부, 대차대조표, 손익계산서 등을 사용하였다. 분석결과 수익성에 영향력을 미치는 직접요인은 유동성과 안정성이었다. 따라서 자금흐름을 원활하게 확보하기 위해 유동성을 확보하면서 안정적인 재무구조를 유지하는 것이 수익성 달성에 도움이 될 것이다. 반면, 활동성은 수익성과 의미있는 인과관계가 나타나지 않았다. 활동성 비율은 병원이 보유하고 있는 자산을 얼마나 효율적으로 활용하고 있는지를 측정하는 지표로써 수익성에 직접적인 인과관계가 있을 것으로 예상되었지만 유의한 영향요인이 아니었다. 이는 선행연구 결과와도 일치하는 것으로 자산의 효율적 활용이 곧바로 수익성 증대로 이어진 것이 아님을 나타냈지만 앞으로 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것이다. 결국 지방의료원이 수익성을 높이고 경영합리화를 이루기 위해서는 안정성과 유동성 관련 요인들을 적절하게 개선할 수 있도록 다각적인 방안을 강구해야 하며, 수익성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 새로운 변수들을 포함한 체계적이고 종합적인 연구가 필요하다 하겠다.
Abstract
The objective of this study is to provide useful basic data for seeking management improvement and empowerment of regional public hospitals by grasping structural causal relationships among financial ratios that influenced on profitability of them. Data were related to locations, beds, training, and financial statements such as a balance sheet and a income statement that Korea Association of Regional Public Hospitals As a result of the analysis, direct factors that had the highest effect on profitability turned out to be flexibility and safety. However, activity had no direct effect on profitability, and there was no indirect effect through safety, either. Thus, it was indicated that establishing flexibility and maintaining stable financial structures to obtain smooth cash flow would be helpful in achieving profits. Therefore, multilateral measures should be devised to appropriately improve safety and flexibility elated factors for regional public hospitals to realize the rationalization of management, and comprehensive studies that include new variables that could affect profitability need to be conducted.
