국내 호텔․외식 및 관광분야 학술지 커피관련 논문의 연구동향 분석: 1999-2012년 게재논문을 중심으로

With the expansion of coffee market in Korea during last decade, research with various coffee-related topics has been conducted. No research trend of coffee-related studies, however, has been conducted so far. Using content analysis, this study analyzed the research trend of 89 coffee-related studies published in hospitality and tourism journals in Korea during the 1999-2012 period. Research findings showed that the rate of studies authored by two persons seemed to be decreased year by year. In addition, questionnaire survey was a main method to carry out the research, and the dominant field and theme of coffee research turned out marketing field and consumer behavior area, respectively. Regarding research methodology, study samples were mainly customers drawn by non-probability sampling methods such as convenience sampling. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis & regression analysis were mostly used. Finally, in an analysis of reference, the ratio of average number of domestic and foreign references turned out to be similar, but the ratio of domestic references seemed to be increased year by year. The study concluded with the implications of the study and future research areas.
