본 연구의 목적은 공항대합실의 대기환경이 대기시간지각 및 혼잡지각에 미치는 영향과 대기사간지각이 혼잡지각에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 공항이용객을 대상으로 수행하였다. 특히, 공항이용객중 항공기 이용을 위해 공항대합실에서 대기하고 있는 출국관광객을 대상으로 하였으며, 조사기간은 2012년 7월1일부터 31일까지 이루어졌고, 연구대상지는 김해국제공항청사 대합실로 하였다. 자기기입식 설문지를 배포하여 총 272부가 회수되었고, 이중 무성의한 응답을 제외한 234부를 본 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구는 문헌연구를 통해 총 9개의 가설을 도출하였으며, PASW Statistics 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석과 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 후, AMOS 18.0 통계패키지를 이용하여 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 가설검증을 위해 구조방정식 모형을 이용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째,대기환경이 대기시간지각에 미치는 영향관계에 대해 알아본 결과, 공조환경을 제외한 대기좌석요인, 공간밀도, 사회밀도요인이 대기시간지각에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대기환경요인이 혼잡지각에 미치는 영향관계에 대해 알아본 결과, 공조환경을 제외한 대기좌석요인, 공간밀도, 사회밀도요인이 혼잡지각에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대기시간지각은 혼잡지각에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 실증분석결과를 토대로 본 연구의 실무적·학문적 시사점과 한계점, 향후 연구방향에 대하여 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study was to analyze the effect of the waiting environments on the perceptions of the waiting time and the crowding. Nine hypotheses were tested to realize the purpose of the study through the literature review. The survey was conducted during July of 2012 at Gimhae international airport. The respondents were sampled from airport users who were ready for waiting for departure. The 234 out of 272 questionnaires were used for analysis. Statistical analyses were done by the EFA(Exploratory Factor Analysis) by PASW Statistics 18.0 and then by the SEM(Structural Equation Modeling), AMOS 18.0. The results found as follows: first, regarding the relationship between the waiting environment and the perceived time, waiting seating condition, spatial density, and social density except ambient condition influenced on the perception of time. Secondly, regarding the waiting environment and the perceived crowding, waiting seating condition, spatial density, and social density except ambient condition influenced on the perception of crowding. Thirdly, the perceived time had a positive effect on the perceived crowding. Conclusion and future research were suggested with issues and limitations from the industrial and academic sides. This research will contribute to suggesting the practical strategy for the airport user satisfaction management by improving the environment of the waiting lounge and preparing for the effective management plan.
