강원도 중장년 실직자 직업교육훈련 실태 및 인식

There are increasing numbers of well skilled and unemployed manpower with own experience and professional know-how these days, as job for the unemployed aged is limited in responding to the needs of the aged and the demands of the aging baby-boomer population. The objective of this study is to investigate current situation and respondents' perception on occupational education and training for the unemployed aged, as well as to establish practical implications in education and employment for the aged in Gangwon province. For this purpose, analysis was carried out on characteristics of the unemployed aged in Gangwon province, environmental changes in life-long occupational education for the unemployed aged and resulting implications. In doing so, we derived the need for re-conceptualization of occupational education for the unemployed aged and constructed the theoretical framework for this area of occupational education. We also analyzed some implications for occupational education of the unemployed aged, in order to devise a long-term development plan for it, through interview and survey for the needs and demands of occupational education for the unemployed aged.
