Lateral Resistance Capacity Analysis of Traditonal Wooden Structural Frame by Finite Element Method

초록

This paper was performed to calculate lateral resistance capacity of traditional wooden frame by finite element analysis. It performed hysteresis test to confirm the reliability of numerical analysis for traditional wooden frame test model and verified the reliability of analysis result by the comparison of test result and analysis result. It was considered wood as orthotropic material and applicated Hill’s yield criterion. Material test was performed to confirm the variables of orthotropic material and Hill’s yield criterion. It was applicated surface contact and nonlinear penalty condition to model the joint condition of traditional wooden frame. It was investigated a variable to select analysis model in the national treasure wooden structures of 22 and selected three analysis models of Sudeoksa Daeungjeon, Bongjeongsa Daeungjeon, Hwaamsa Gukrakjeon. Analysis models was composed only of exterior frame to simplify comparison viewpoint. It was confirmed the reliability of finite element analysis result by compare FEM analysis result with test result. It was simulated lateral resistence force for exterior frame of analysis models by finite element analysis.
