자동차디자이너들은 동일한 플랫폼에서 풍부한 개성을 지닌 다른 디자인의 차종을 만들어내기 위해 수없는 노력을 하고 있다. 자동차 디자이너는 회사의 자산이 될 이미지를 잘 파악하여 디자인 작업을 해 나아가야 한다. 그리고 자동차디자인에 디자이너의 개성을 살리기 위해 엔지니어와의 더욱 긴밀하게 연결되어야 한다. 자동차의 단일 모델만의 개성 있는 디자인이 아닌 자사 자동차의 종류와 역사, 전통 그리고 자동차를 디자인하기 위해서는 구조, 설계요건, 기능, 생산성, 코스트, 마케팅 등 갖가지 자동차관련 지식이 요구된다. 전체적인 자동차의 큰 그림을 볼 줄 알아야 한다. 자사 자동차의 자산으로 만들 디자인DNA를 찾아 정립시켜내야 한다. 그런 점에서 디자인 비중은 더욱 크게 나타나고 있다. 그중에서도 폴크스바겐의 전략을 보면 알 수 있다. 앞으로 자동차가 나아가야할 모범 사례로 볼 수 있다. 이번 연구가 자동차의 변화되는 기술과 자동차디자인의 정립에 대한 디자인전통, 디자인DNA를 찾는 계기가 되었으면 한다. 자동차디자인은 기업의 경쟁력 있는 기술, 마케팅 그리고 디자인이 통합화로 인한 시너지 효과로 기업이미지를 구축, 발전시켜 나가는 것도 디자이너의 사명이다. 폴크스바겐의 사례를 살펴보아야 한다. 기술자가 보는 내부의 기술적인 부분의 공유화만이 아닌, 소비자 눈에 보이는 부품의 공유까지도 유심히 살펴보아야 한다. 기술부분의 진화보다는 소비자 눈에 보이는 부분의 디자인을 살펴보아야 한다. 이런 모든 부분 공유화를 주도하는 폴크스바겐의 사례는 관심 있게 살펴보아야 한다.
Abstract
We automobile designers must design some kind of unique on the same platform. Designers have not only to pursue a unique style of the car. Designers must grasp the image to be assets of the company. and to design the car. In order to take advantage of the personality of the designer must communicate closely with the engineers. Designer should know the history of the automobile, construction, design, production, price, and marketing. The designer must look at all things automotive. Designers must search the image of the vehicle. The designer must look to the car designDNA. Automotive design specific gravity is greater. I'll take a look at a case study Volkswagen. It is the future of automotive design. This study, learn the technology of the automobile is changing. Understand everything related to automotive design. Need to find the automotive and designDNA. Automobile designers to prepare the future. Automobile designer, look back at the tradition of country traditions and their car. Constantly observing the trends of competitors. There is also a need and a wide field of view constantly. Design of the Volkswagen, a style that does not get tired out even if I use it for a long time. Volkswagen will continue to lead the design of the car. It is designed to distinguish with other companies. Volkswagen to produce the car in a new way. We will study the flow of new design and a new automotive technology to the study of Volkswagen.
