I purposed that I would illuminate the design education contents, tendencies and problems in contemporary Chinese historical context. For study purpose, background, methods and problems of the paper, I would acknowledge the true understandings of modern Chinese design education so use the historical-culturalism perspectives to study convergencies and differences between China and outer world. In the related theories reviews, I would suggest that the design education be related with economic conditions of the nations like England and America. Chinese government would drive the policies on design education because of stress the creativities for educating high-class pro-specialities. The boundaries year of design education contexts would be 1999. Before the period, gov. would stress less ideologies, and after that, quantities and qualities growth would be certain. In conclusion, I would that first, art design be the main idea, second, probabilities and abilities of design education be fixing stage, and third, the contents and future tendencies of design education be the lessons for that of Korea.
