상하이의 산업유산을 통한 문화적 도시재생 전략 연구- M50 창의산업원구를 중심으로

These days, Shanghai is aggressively driving for change of its industrial structure as well as reorganization of spatial structure. Sites downtown where industrial facilities were removed still have a number of buildings such as old factories and warehouses, some of them were demolished while lots of them are left as they are. These directly reflect traces of Shanghai’s modern industrial development. This industrial heritage has the opportunity to be reborn as new cultural space beyond the perspective of just preservation, in step with development of Creative Industrial District just started to build downtown. This study analyzed strategies for Cultural Urban regeneration through industrial heritage centered on Shanghai. This study also conducted research with M50 Creative Industrial District as the typical case in which industrial heritage has turned to cradle of new creative industry.
