Wavelet 보정법을 이용한 유아 신체발육의 연간시계열 (年間時系列) 해석방법 -남녀 유아의 해석-
An Approach to Time Series Analysis for One Year in Physical Growth of Infant by Wavelet Interpolation Method

유아기 신장의 증가현상(계절변동: 계절에 따른 명확한 변화)에 관한 명확한 결론은 도달해 있지 않다. 본 연구는 유아(남아 55명, 여아 51명)를 대상으로 신장의 월별발육데이터(1년간 종단적 월별발육)에 Wavelet 보정법을 적용하고, 월별 발육속도곡선에 나타나는 LPV(Local Peak Velocity)의 출현시점을 해석하였다. 계산되어진 월별 발육현량치곡선을 미분하여 속도곡선을 얻은 후, LPV를 검출하였다. 1년간의 LPV출현패턴, LPV 출현시기 및 최고 LPV 출현시기를 해석한 결과, LPV출현패턴은 남녀아 모두 3부분, 4부분에서 출현하는 경우가 많았다. LPV출현시기는 남녀아 모두 5-6월경, 8-9월경, 11-12월경으로 나타났다. 최고 LPV의 출현시기는 5-6월경과 8-9월경에 다수 나타났다. 따라서 신장의 계절변동은 여름철에 발육촉진이 나타나고, 한편으로는 유전적인 신장의 월별발육패턴이 추정된다. 한편으로는 계절변동 때문인지 유전적 발육패턴인지 판단하기는 추가적 연구가 필요하다.
Abstract
The reports regarding the seasonal variation of height are clearly not found during preschool children. Therefore, the present study is to verify the relationship between seasonal variation and monthly pattern of growth in height based on analyzing age (month) at LPV (Local Peak Velocity) detected on the velocity curve of monthly pattern of growth by applying wavelet interpolation method (WIM) to the monthly pattern of growth in height of preschool children. The WIM was applied to longitudinal monthly pattern of growth for one year in height of fifty five four-year-old boys and fifty one four-year-old girls. The obtained monthly pattern of growth distance curve is differentiated and the LPVs were detected from the derived velocity curve. The appearance pattern of LPV detected for one year, age (month) at LPV and at maximum LPV were analyzed. As the result, the appearance pattern of LPV often appears in four places in boys and girls. Therefore, though the promotion of growth was shown in summer as a seasonal variation of height, on the other hand, it is thought that the monthly pattern of growth of inherited height was estimated. However, it is difficult to judge the pattern of a seasonal variation or inherited growth.
