해외 유명건축가의 기술특허와 디자인특허에 대한 기초연구

The purpose of this study was to analyze the patents and design patents cases published and invented by world reknown architects from early modern periods and to post modern periods. Patent office and search engine was used with data in USA, EU and Japan. Reknown architects were limited to the Pritzker Architecture Prize Medalists. American architects such as Meier, Gehry and Venturi invented the interior furniture and published design patents. European architects like Rosi, Moneo and Hadid invented the interior furniture, on the other hands Piano, Foster and Nouvel invented the architectural technology and published patents through their architectural projects. Japanese architect Ito Toyo have 11patents and 21design patents. And now korean architects need to be concerned about architectural patents and design patents for preventing the infringement.
