국가직무능력표준(NCS : National Competency Standards)에 따른디자인 계열의 특성화 전략 -M.E. Porter의 가치사슬분석(Value Chain Analysis)을 중심으로-

This study is aimed at exploring the strategies for specializing design-related college departments in line with NCS (National Competency Standards) with focus on Value Chain Analysis of M.E. Porter. The findings can be summarized as the following two key points. First, in order to achieve the specialization goal of ‘boosting employment rate,’ in connection with support activities of Value Chain Analysis, the following specialization strategies in line with NCS were suggested among 5 areas: ‘setting mid-to long-term strategies of departments,’(52.3%), ‘establishing infrastructure for student guidance’, ‘student guidance’, ‘purchasing equipment and materials’. Among 8 items subdivided from the 4 areas, the following 3 items were answered by a lot more respondents than any other item: ‘design curriculum restructuring’; ‘investment for training outstanding professionals’; ‘creative idea generation training program.’Second, in order to achieve the specialization goal of ‘boosting employment rate,’ in connection with main activities of Value Chain Analysis, the following specialization strategies in line with NCS were suggested among 5 areas: ‘utilization of external infrastructure for building competencies of students’ (36.5%), ‘education & training', ‘employment guidance’, ‘promotion of departments and employment’, ‘utilization of retraining system’. Among 8 items subdivided from the 4 areas, the following 3 items were answered by a lot more respondents than any other item: ‘stimulation of industry-school cooperation’; ‘consistent practical training’; ‘setting educational goals for employment guidance.’
