로고스경영학의 학문성 제고방안의 모색

Christian scholars of management have pursued the scholarship of the Logos Management through the Korean Association of Logos Management, the Academy of Christian Sciences, and the Korean Association of Christian Economics, but have fulfilled little yet. This paper explored why Christian scholars of management have difficulties in conducting studies of scholarly high-quality that reflect Christian spirit and message and what factors causing the difficulties and solutions on the presumed problems are. For this, specifically this paper examined a necessity and methods to enhance the scholarship of research on Logos Management. Assuming that Logos Management as an integrative science of management, theology, and philosophy is obliged to pursue the scholarship by improving a quality of research, we suggested scholarly limitations of Logos Management, reasons, and ways to overcome the limitations. An integrative framework suggested by Martinez (2004) was helpful. Subsequently, we described such factors disturbing the scholarship as limitations of scholarly background, a limited opportunity for publications, inferior environments for research, evaluation schemes of academic journals, a quality issue of research papers, and a segregation of faith and research activities. Finally, as practical solutions, we suggested administrative and financial supports, a diversification of academic societies and journals, and education and training.
