도시가스기업의 지식경영과 경영성과에 관한 연구

최근 지식정보화사회로의 급격한 환경변화는 기업의 비즈니스 환경과 경영방식에 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 이러한 경영환경의 변화에 대응하여 기업자원과 함께 경영성과를 효과적으로 달성하기 위한 수단으로 산업계와 국내외 학계에서는 지식경영에 대한 중요성에 많은 관심을 가지게 되었다. 즉 지식경영은 경영성과의 효과성과 함께 경쟁우위를 확보하기 위한 핵심요인으로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구는 지식경영에 관한 연구에서 많이 다루어지고 있지 않은 도시가스기업을 대상으로 지식경영활동인 지식공유와 지식창출이 경영성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지식경영활동이 비재무적 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 지식공유와 지식창출의 두 개 요인이 모두 비재무적성과에 유의한 정(＋)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 지식경영활동이 재무적 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 지식창출은 재무적 성과에 유의한 정(＋)의 영향을 미쳤으나, 지식공유는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 지식경영을 통해 지적 자산을 효율적으로 창출하고 활용하려는 도시가스기업의 기업경쟁력을 제고할 뿐만 아니라 국가경제발전에 기여하는 계기를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study is to investigate the effects of knowledge management on management performance. Knowledge management was classified into two dimensions；knowledge creation, knowledge sharing. Business performance was classified into two dimensions；non－financial performance, financial performance. The data were obtained from a survey of 112 employees in a city gas companies. The results are as follows：First, Knowledge creation and knowledge sharing were positively related to non－financial performance. Second, Knowledge creation was positively related to financial performance. However, knowledge sharing had no significant impact on financial performance. It would help many companies in the city gas companies who wish to score management success by implementing the knowhow of knowledge management.
