Today, most of the buildings are not passed on to30 years to finish the function. Architectural space is important elements of thesocial phenomenon which reflects the social, economicand cultural changesThis research is to provide research material whichis for theoretical data of regeneration methodsThe main method of this study is to analyze reportsand papers by regeneration companies and institutions,to review the data from research D/B and webnetworks, and to consider literatures including thesis,books and the other publications. The scope and content of this study contains thehistoric buildings to be considered on the basis of theterms of regeneration analysis study from ProfessorDerek Linstrum's researchIn addition, the study has the analysis of theobjective cases on four perspectives. First, from an aesthetic point of view, Thecombination of historic space and new space is shownby the structure of interdependent relationships andindependent of each other. Second, in an economic point of view, the changein the spatial program makes the regional regeneration. Third, the functional point of view, theimprovement of accessibility based on M.H.S.W isshown through characteristics of community formationand spatial opennessFinally, from a psychological point of view,construction of image based on community formationand symbolic design of buildings achieves a regionalregeneration. This study analyzed through a variety of cases, thecharacteristics of strategic design for the regenerationand through these studies, it is intended to contributeto the setting of the proper orientation for regeneratingto maintain the characteristics of historic buildings.
