키틴유도체 특허동향 및 선도기업 분석

초록
본 연구에서는 키틴유도체에 대한 향후 연구개발 방향을설정하기 위하여 전체 키틴유도체와 관련된 한국, 미국, 일본및 유럽에서의 출원 공개/등록된 특허를 중심으로 특허 동향을 분석하였다. 특허검색 결과 총 9,286건이 검색되었으며 중복제거 및 필터링을 통하여 6,270건의 유효 분석대상 특허를선별하였다. 본 논문에서는 키틴유도체 응용분야를 쉽게 분석할 수 있도록 5가지의 기술로 분류하여 정량 분석 및 정성분석을 수행하였으며, 특허건수와 출원인수의 상관관계를 이용한 포토폴리오 분석 결과 성장가능성이 가장 높다고 판단되는 ‘의료 및 헬스케어’ 분야를 핵심 응용분야로 선정하였다. 또한 키틴유도체와 관련된 특허장벽 분석을 통하여 핵심기술과 유사성이 높은 특허가 있을 경우 회피설계 및 타 기술과 차별화된 기술 개발할 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하였다. 이를 통해 우리나라의 기술 수준, 선진 기업의 연구 개발동향및 핵심특허 현황 등을 파악하여 객관적인 특허정보 제공과키틴유도체 분야의 연구개발 및 특허 확보 방안을 제시한다.
Abstract
In this study, we analyzed the patent trends for chitin derivatives to reveal the main R&D directions, focusing on patentsapplied for and registered in Korea, the USA, japan, and Europe. A total of 9,286 patents were retrieved and 6,270 patents wereselected for final effective analysis by data de-duplication and filtering. We classified the chitin derivatives applications into fivecategories and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis. And a port-folio analysis using the correlation between the numberof patents and the applicants for each patents revealed a ‘medical and health-care’ as the key application with greatest growthpotential. From an analysis of the barriers to patents being granted, we emphasize the need to avoid similar topics existingpatents or patents applications and to develop differential technology. As a result, we can understand domestic technical leveland research trends of advanced countries. And we provided objective patent information and we proposed the direction of thedevelopment and the way of the securing patent right.
