캠핑 차량의 유형별 디자인 특징 고찰

초록
국민 소득 증가에 따라 여가 등 개인의 복지와 취미활동에 대한 관심 증가로, 다양한 레저 활동에 대한요구도 늘어나고 있다. 한편으로 우리나라에서 주 5일 근무제를 시행하는기업들이 증가하고 있으며, 2012년부터는 초․중․고교에서 주 5일 수업이 전면적으로 실시됨에 따라, 향후에 가족 단위의 레저 활동은 더욱 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 차량을 이용한 레저 활동에 사용되는 캠핑 차량의유형은 크게 승합차 기반의 캠핑차량과 화물차 기반의캠핑차량, 그리고 피견인식 캠핑 트레일러로 나누어고찰하였다. 각각의 차량은 그 크기나 구조에 따라 거주성과 활용도에서 차이가 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 이들 중 승합차량 기반의 캠핑차량은 공간의 활용도는 높지 않으나, 일반차량으로써의 실용성도 가지고있으며, 화물차량 기반의 캠핑 차량은 공간의 활용도에서는 장점이 있으나, 차량 디자인의 심미성에서는장점이 적다는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 살펴본 바에 의하면, 우리나라에서는단기적으로는 렌탈 방식 캠핑 차량의 수요를 예측할수 있다. 그러나 개인 소유를 위한 캠핑 차량의 디자인에서는 승합차를 기반으로 변형시킨 유형이 조화가중시될 것이라는 조형적 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다.
Abstract
The demand for various leisure activity isincreasing by the growth of national income andinteresting in personal well-being to spend sparetime for hobby activities or physical maintaining. It is estimated that the adaption of 5-day workingsystem of companies and schools from the year 2012in Korea would work as another reason forpopularization of family leisure activities. This study had been categorized camping vehiclesas three groups such as mini-van based type, truckbased type, and towing type camping trailer. And itwas discovered the types camping vehicles havedifferent characteristics in space and practicality bytheir size and structures. Among them, it was discovered the mini-vanbased type has higher prcticality in living space,however the truck based type has less advantagesin appearance inspite of potentiality in living space. Therefore it can be inferred that the demand ofcamper vehicle through rental service would bepopularized in short term. However, it can beimplied that total valance of shapes would beimportant on the mini-van based modified camper aspersonal camper vehicle considering the total designfor practical camping vehicles.
