병원용 세면대 디자인 개발을 통한 유니버설 디자인 관점의 제품디자인 방향성 연구

Today, Due to the income increases and development of medical technology, Korea entered the Aging Society which 65 years and over are over 7% of the elderly in 2000 and is expected to be the Aged Society over 14% of the elderly just 18 years. In this study, Through the development of the basin design for the care and nursing facilities, was intended to study on the clear direction of the development of product design for the elderly in terms of the universal design. For this direction, this study elicited the pain-point through the analysis of physical and behavioral characteristics of users and case studies of related products and than find the core insight of the hospital basin design with established the main target as the old people and disabled. Through this design process, this study suggested the clear direction of the design development of bathroom products for the elderly as the below. First, the development of design reflected the physical, behavioral characteristics and VOC is the most important. Second, not only the function but also the approach of emotional aspect for the improvement of life quality is important too.
