교육중심 대학의 회계교육과정 개선방안에 대한 연구

This study suggests directions of how to improve the accounting curriculum in the education－oriented universities. This study also explains current accounting education programs in the education－oriented universities and analyzes accounting curriculum for making best undergraduate teaching. Finally this study suggests new curriculum of accounting education by examining accounting education of education－oriented universities. This paper surveys the demand of undergraduate students for efficient accounting education in the education－oriented universities. The subject consists of 165 students (enrolled in P university in Gyeonggi－do). Most of the students responded that accounting is important and necessary but they felt accounting is so difficult. The results of this paper were as follows. First, it is needed to change accounting curriculum in practical way in the education－oriented universities. Second, it must be offering courses related to the objective of education－oriented universities. This study has several limitations such as insufficient sample size of the survey, limited accounting curriculum models. But this research paper attempts to suggest proper accounting curriculum to make practical accounting professional in the education－oriented universities and to promote understanding of the accounting education of education－oriented universities and to draw the implication for the development of accounting curriculum.
