국내 디자인 관련 시지각 연구에 대한 메타분석

The purpose of this study is to meta-analyze overall and specific research trends of previous researches on Visual perception in design. There are basic criteria to configure a research model of this study; definitions of the research on visual perception, research area in design, the number of researchers and research methods. And there are also specified criteria according to the research method; the method of experiment and measurement, the sort of objects for experiments and presenting method. With above criteria, Frequency study and Cross tabs of SPSS 18.0 were conducted. The results are stated below: 1st, the frequency of Applied visual perception researches were higher than Pure visual perception researches. The frequency of visual design and space design were higher than others. 2nd, in research methods, the frequency of case study was higher than theoretical research and experiment research. 3rd, in keyword category, there were trends on research topics and targets in each design study. 4th, in experiment researches, the most general method of experiment and measurement was measuring and assessing through surveys after experimental objects presented and most of experiments were finished at once without pre-testing or second experiments. At last, there were only 4 researches which had been cooperated by plural researchers in different research areas to extract objective results. Therefore, the cooperating studies should be done to grasp clear results of studies and it would be worth to cooperate with experts in Neurology area to achieve above goal since Visual perception is the interaction between sensory system and nervous system. As basic source of study cases, this study would be expected to assist researchers who will deal with Visual perception and configure the definition of the research.
