기업가정신교육이 창업의지에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 정부의 기업가정신 함양을 위한 교육이 대학생의 창업의지 변화에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 살펴보고, 교육만족도와 개인특성이 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업가정신교육은 창업의지에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 교육을 통해 간접경험을 확대시킴으로써 창업활동이 촉진될 수 있고, 창업 도전의지가 높아질 수 있음을 의미한다. 즉, 창업에 대한 역량들 중 창업의지가 후천적으로 얻어진 경우로 교육을 통해 제고될 수 있다는 것이다. 둘째, 기업가정신교육 만족도는 창업의지에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 교육에 대한 내용만족도, 강사만족도가 창업의지를 높이는데 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 기업가정신 함양 프로그램이 전문가특강 형식으로 이루어지기 때문에 교육목적을 달성하기 위해서는 강사의 역량과 교육내용이 중요하다는 시사점을 제공하고 있다. 본 연구는 최근 중소기업청이 지원하는 기업가정신교육 프로그램이 확산되고 있는 시점에서 교육프로그램의 효과를 실증적으로 검증하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다.
Abstract
The entrepreneurship education is a key educational program among the government leading start-up support programs, which aim to decrease the unemployment level in Korea under the global economic recession. While many entrepreneurship education programs have been provided to university students by governmental support since 2009, the analysis on the effect of those educational programs has been done only by little until recently. This study examines the effect of the entrepreneurship education programs on the start-up intention. Based on the survey of the students before and after the entrepreneurship education programs, three research hypotheses were tested. Main research results are as following. First, their start-up intention increased significantly after the entrepreneurship education programs. Second, the satisfaction level of the entrepreneurship education programs was positively related to the start-up intention. Third, the moderating effect of ‘personal attitude on entrepreneurship’ was not found between the satisfaction level of entrepreneurship education programs and start-up intention. These results may be the evidence to support the governmental policy that has continued to provide the entrepreneurship education programs since 2009. This study has limitation as to be generalized , because research results were only based on the survey of university students who participated in the entrepreneurship education programs during October of 2012 in the Daejeon and Chungcheong area.
