CMF중심 디자인 프로세스에 관한 연구

The CMF-centered design that pursuits of the improvement of the emotional quality by embodying sensory experience beyond the style plays a variety of roles in the contact of technology and design throughout the entire process of product development. This study proved through theoretical consideration that every critical period of design innovation the symbolic representative of the time is closely related to the materials and technologies, process innovation. Due to the explosion of material development the needs of use of information of materials and technology effectively and applying to the design process happened at the same time, this is appeared as paradigm shift by mutual need of technology and design. The CMF design performing these requirements specifically played roles as element, innovation and convergence technology in product development. Based on this background and circumstances involved in this case study researchers through the CMF-centered design process model is proposed. This model was composed of two-track; inspiration and innovation step, while it was operated independently of each step and an organic process the association activities is possible in a certain part. Unlike the existing design process, this study have a meaning to present that this model developing new materials or applications utilizing the characteristics of the material is possible to design innovation activity as the extended range.
