The main purpose of this study is to quantitatively analyze the driving forces behind global leading firms that produce many innovative outcomes. Particularly, using multiple regression analysis and focusing on global innovative companies, this study sorts out the factors that have a significant influence on the number of a firm’s innovative outcomes. By analyzing the driving force of innovation with statistical analyses based on real-world data, this study can be a starting point for further research that would identify the crucial factors in innovation with a quantitative validation. Further, with the proposed multiple regression model, implications about the firms with excellent innovation ability can be derived and it is possible to a firm to use the implications in crafting strategies to effectively and efficiently enhance its innovation ability.
