기업의 기술사업화에 대한 도입기술속성의 영향 분석－대덕연구개발특구 정부출연(연)에서 이전된 기술을 중심으로－
The Effects of External Acquisition Technology Attributes on Firms’ Technology Commercializations: In the Context of Daedeok Innopolis

본 연구는 대덕연구개발특구내 정부출연(연)에서 기술을 도입한 기업을 대상으로 도입기술의 속성이 기업의 기술사업화 성공가능성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 도입기술속성의 우수성은 도입기술의 기술적 우수성, 사업적 우수성, 시장적 우수성으로 측정되었다. 본 연구에서는 대덕연구개발특구내 정부출연(연)에서 기술을 도입한 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 102부의 설문지를 회수하였으며, 수집된 자료는 PLS 분석기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 정부출연(연)에서 도입한 기술의 속성이 우수할수록 기업의 기술사업화 성공가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났고, 도입기술속성이 우수할수록 도입기술만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 도입기술만족도가 높을수록 기업의 기술사업화 성공가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 도입기술속성이 우수할수록 제품/공정 혁신에 기여하는 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다만 도입기술의 제품/공정 혁신 기여정도와 기업의 기술사업화 성공가능성 간의 관계는 유의적이지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 대덕연구개발특구내 정부출연(연)에서 기술을 도입하려는 기업에게 유용한 시사점을 제공한다.
Abstract
Many firms have recently started to actively commercialize technologies by introducing technologies from Government-funded Research Institutes in Daedeok Innopolis. In this context, this study is to investigate the extent to which external technology acquisition affects firms’ technology commercialization, and how this effect is mediated by their technology satisfactions and product/process innovations. PLS analysis is used to test the hypotheses set in this study focused on firms that introduce technologies derived from Government-funded Research Institutes in Daedeok Innopolis, using a sample of 102 firms. The result from the study suggests that firm’s technology satisfaction and product/process innovation play a critical role as a mediator that stimulates the relationships between its external acquisition technology attributes and technology commercialization, indicating firm’s technology commercialization is significantly affected by its external acquisition technology attributes, technology satisfactions and product/ process innovations. This study proposes managerial implications based on the results and highlights future research directions.
