본 연구의 목적은 지역의 특화산업이 지역호텔산업의 영업에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 호텔산업의 의사결정자들에게 지역특화산업과 동반성장 할 수 있는 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 국가의 주요 산업이자 세계조선산업을 이끌고 있는 거제지역의 조선산업을 지역특화산업으로 선정하여 거제지역 양대 조선산업의 매출액이 거제지역 호텔산업의 객실매출총액, 내국인 객실매출액, 외국인 객실매출액, 그리고 객실점유율과 RevPAR 등에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 본 연구의 자료는 불안정한 시계열 자료이기 때문에 단위근 및 공적분 검정을 통하여 자료의 안정성 검정을 시행하였으며 GLS를 통한 모형추정을 시행하였다. 모형추정 결과, 거제지역 양대 조선산업의 매출액은 거제지역 호텔산업의 객실매출총액과 내·외국인 객실매출액, RevPAR 등에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 거제지역 호텔산업의 의사결정자들은 양대 조선사 및 지방자치단체 관계자들과 협력하여 동반성장 할 수 있는 경영전략 수립을 위하여 노하여야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find what regional special industry influence of regional hotel rooms operation. For this study, shipbuilding industry in Geoje-si was selected for regional special industry, and revenue of shipbuilding companies was selected as explanatory variables. And hotels in Geoje-si were selected for regional hotel industry, and rooms revenue, rooms revenue of domestic guests, rooms revenue of foreign guests, rooms occupancy rate and RevPAR were selected as dependent variables. Unit root test and cointegration test were conducted for stationary examine of time series data. And GLS was used for model estimation for extraction non-multicollinerity. This study found revenue of shipbuilding companies influences of rooms revenue, rooms revenue of domestic/foreign guests and RevPAR. Therefore, decision-makers of hotel industry in Geoje-si should consider for success business strategy with shipbuilding industry in Geoje-si.
