창의적 발상법과 형태생성 방법을 적용한 3차원 공간디자인 수업사례에 관한 연구 -로웨나 리드의 직육면체 상호관계성 조형실습을 기초로 하여-

With the growing needs for promoting creativity to sharpen the competitive edge of individuals, businesses and the nation, educational programs to nurture creative ideas have continued to be developed. The purpose of this study is to assess the usefulness of the program by proposing a model for enhancing the creativity of students major in interior design, applying it to the program and analyzing the program result. To this end, I proposed a four-stage model based on creative thinking and morphogenesis, and presented cases where basic design practice is fused with creative thinking, thereby evolving into exhibition space design. It turned out that students understood the concept of 3D axis and the relative size and proportion beauty of morphogenesis at the first stage. At the second stage, they experienced that elements composing a 3D structure can develop into a 3D space when those elements have continuity. The students learned skills to produce and clarify creative ideas by applying synetics to 3D modeling at the third stage. At the fourth stage, they honed their skills for planning and expressing the promotion¯exhibition space. In the conclusion, I came to understand that Rowena Reed's formative practice based on interrelationship provides a solution to form an unpredictable, creative 3D linear space by going beyond spatial extensions, change and structural limitations. Combination of a spatial project with convergence thinking contributes to promoting creativity. Such convergence is strongly recommended, in particular, because self-assessment implemented at each stage is effective in enhancing observation skills and self-directed learning.
