클라우드 컴퓨팅 등장에 따른 경제적 영향과 개인정보보법 연구

Information and communications technology has been used in transforming industries from IT industry, and currently to smart industry. It has contributed in enhancing industrial and social life in terms of convenience and cost-reduction. One such example is the upload of documentation, movie, personal file to e-mail and electronic documentation from Virtual Storge it call Internet Data Center. Currently, cloud computing technology is used to upload and down load mass data/information which has successfully been used in various areas of weather prediction, development of new drugs, gene analysis, etc. However, the cloud computing also includes personal identifiable information which does not consider the privacy protection policy that is defined in the Personal Protection Act in Korea. For example, the cloud computing can improve the way of living and bring high economical profit when used in various services such as weather forecast, emergency prevention. But, the privacy information that is managed in the cloud computing can also be used maliciously to cause economical and psychological damage to an innocent individual. The exposed personal information are not easily discarded or forgotten and can be re-used permanently, thus, an method to prevent this exposure beforehand is urgently needed. This paper proposes a solution to properly settle cloud computing technology in the market by economical and legal analysis of the changes in the market environment and economical impact with the advent of the Big Data.
