The Influence of Perceived Organizational Vision and Positive Psychology Capital on Learning Goal Orientation and Job Satisfaction in Hotel Temporary Employees

The aim of this research was to investigate the organizational vision and positive psychology capital as it was perceived by hotel Food and Beverage temporary employees and to examine the effects of the organizational vision and positive psychology capital on learning goal orientation and job satisfaction. Data were collected from hotel food and beverage contract workers at 10 five star hotels in Seoul. A total of 192 samples were finally used for the analysis. The results of the analysis showed that organizational vision had significant effect on positive psychology capital and job satisfaction while the learning goal orientation did not. The results also indicated that positive psychology capital had significant effect on learning goal orientation and job satisfaction. The results also indicated that learning goal orientation was not significantly associated with job satisfaction. Practical implications and limitation of the study are discussed within
