일본 프롤레타리아 詩와 朝鮮 – 詩「해류」「조선이여」「현해탄」「나는 조선인이다」를 중심으로 –

This paper analyzes four poems An ocean stream (Ito-Shinkichi, 伊藤信吉), Joseon (Uchini-kenji ,内野健児), Hyeonhaetan (Kim-Yongje, 金龍濟), I’m Korean (Joseon person)〉(Kim -Byeongho, 金炳昊). These poets were a part of the Proletarian poem movement in Korea and Japan during the Japanese colonial period The poems An ocean stream and Joseon person are works that depict the humanism in Korea at the time, with Joseon person evoking the sympathy at the time of the ruled nation. Both two works have commonality of their spatial background, which is being onboard a ship. The poems Hyeonhaetan and I’m Korean especially are significant in terms of their Proletarian contribution of published work in Japan as Korean. Hyeonhaetan is excellent work that expressed the pain as a labor in Joseon time. I’m Korean depicts a strong combative personality against the Japanese occupation as a Korean person (or commonly referred to a ‘Joseon’ person at the time). An ocean stream can be considered an important cultural heritages that reflects the historical agony of both Korean and Japanese intellectuals who lived during the Japanese colonial period.
