The study is accomplished by comparing theperformance of different info-graphic design withstudy effect differences. With the improvement ofeducational technology, more and more people payattention to research how to improve learningefficiency through different learning instrument. Priorstudies have shown that cognition is an indisputableeffect of the efficiency of human learning. Comparedwith merely reading text, stimulating the sensesthrough visual and auditory while learning, the laterwill affect the learning efficiency. Multimedia studiesresult shown: animation and interactive educationmethod did not significantly improved study efficiency. In the field of education visual expression research,results shown that the picture is able to effectivelyimprove learners understand text contents andmemory. Info-graphic was born in newspapers,popular on networks. Info-graphic which redesigns theinformation produced and the efficient readingefficiency inspired me to do the study. I chose twoInfo-graphic design elements as the study variables:image and color. McLuhan has made distinctionabout information on the image and color definition;afterwards I used photo and illustration, colorful andcolorless. As to human cognitive abilities, I chose totest the two efficiency factors of learning process:attention and memory. Measured attention througheye tracking test, calculated users’ eyes fixations ofstay in a particular area. Memory test was comparedthrough pre and post survey questionnaire scoredifference, drawn the memory data. Meanwhile,memory scores are also higher in the result ofinfo-graphic. In memory results, colorful illustrationperformed in info-graphic is better than the colorless. After analyzing research could continue to add moreof the other info-graphic design elements, consideringmore learning environment affects, learners indifferent age groups. Thereby improving the efficiencyof different methods to improve learning objects.
