Analysis on Thailand's Tourist Experiences through Service Design

The tourist industry is growing worldwide, fuelled by the increase in leisure time and disposable income. Tourism in Thailand is doing well, which is not surprising, as the country has almost everything a tourist could desire: a warm climate, wonderful beaches, beautiful nature, a culture rich in variety, a high standard of services and low costs, yet some travellers can be possibly faced the difficulties in Thailand. Traveling alone is an amazing way to learn how to cope with minor and major difficulties, but it also can magnify small inconveniences into large problems. It can make little disasters feel like huge catastrophes; therefore, the study will be concerned about a service method to comfort solo traveller, and overcome the traveller insecurities through the service design methodology. Moreover, the three main purpose of this project: to study the general data and behavior of tourists in Thailand, to study the opinions about problems with foreigners faced by Thai tourism, and to study of the impressive or outstanding features of Thai tourism in terms of travel application benefit. The instrument uses in this research is the double diamond model, which is divided into four stage: discover, define, develop, and deliver; to solve and overcome the future problem of solo traveller or any type of tourists who have a desire to visit Thailand.
